Where to meet your chauffeur at Pearson

Land, turn on your phone, read one text — here is exactly how your Pearson pickup works, terminal by terminal.

Pearson is a big airport having a busy day, every day — and the single most common question first-time clients ask is simply: where will the driver be? This page answers it completely. The short version: turn your phone on when you land, and there will already be a text from dispatch with your chauffeur's name, vehicle description, plate, and your exact pickup point. Everything below is the detail behind that text.

Your flight is tracked from the moment it leaves the origin city, so your chauffeur's timing follows the aircraft, not the schedule. Early arrivals, late arrivals and gate holds all adjust the pickup automatically — you never need to call from the baggage belt, and the first 60 minutes after wheels-down are always complimentary while you clear immigration, baggage and customs.

Pre-arranged chauffeured vehicles at Pearson operate under GTAA rules, which keeps pickups orderly: licensed operators use designated pickup areas rather than fighting the public curb. It's why a pre-booked car is consistently calmer than the arrivals-level scrum — your chauffeur knows exactly which door, level and lane, and simply tells you.

Terminal by terminal

Terminal 1 arrivals

Air Canada, Star Alliance and most international carriers. After customs you exit into the arrivals hall — your text names the exact door and level for your pickup, typically a short walk from the exit.

Terminal 3 arrivals

WestJet, American, Delta and many international carriers. Same drill: clear customs, check your phone, walk to the named door — your chauffeur confirms the moment the car is at the curb.

Meet & greet option

Prefer a person to a text? Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, helps with luggage, and walks you to the car. Add it to any booking.

Departures

Drop-offs go to the departures level of your terminal, at the door nearest your airline's check-in row — tell dispatch your airline and we handle the rest.

What happens after you land

The sequence, every time:

  • Wheels down — your chauffeur is already notified and positioning.
  • Phone on — your text is waiting: chauffeur name, vehicle, plate, exact door.
  • Clear immigration and baggage at your own pace — the first hour of wait is free.
  • Walk out the named door — the car is at the curb, luggage is handled, water is cold.

Frequently asked questions

What if I can't find the pickup door?
Reply to the dispatch text or call the number in it — your chauffeur will talk you to the door, or simply come to you inside the hall. Nobody has ever stayed lost at Pearson for long with a chauffeur on the phone.
My flight is delayed three hours — do I need to do anything?
Nothing at all. We track the aircraft, not the booking time — your pickup moves with the flight automatically and the first 60 minutes after your actual landing remain complimentary.
Where does meet & greet actually meet me?
Inside the arrivals hall, directly outside the customs exit doors for your flight, holding a name sign — the classic airport-movie moment. Your chauffeur then takes the luggage and leads you to the vehicle.
Is airport pickup extra at Pearson?
Standard curbside pickup, flight tracking and the first hour of wait are all included in your flat rate. Meet & greet is the only add-on — ask dispatch for the current price when booking.
